001. Celebrating AIYA’s Launch and Inaugural 2025–26 Season

Hello World!

This is the AI Youth Alliance (AIYA), and we are thrilled to officially introduce ourselves! We are especially proud to announce our successful launch in 2025–26 and the official closing of our inaugural programming season.

Bringing together over 150 participants across 12 teams from 7 founding schools spanning 3 continents, our first year exceeded every expectation. Through student leadership, faculty mentorship, and institutional support, our global community transformed a bold vision into a thriving movement.

This is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, we will be publishing deep dives highlighting the results, findings, and student projects from our three flagship events:

• AIYA Literacy Week

• AIYA Global AI Hackathon

• AIYA Impact Symposium

Before we kick off our upcoming series exploring the results of our inaugural 2025-26 season, we want to share a sincere note of thanks to the students, faculty, administrators, and partner institutions who took a leap of faith with us to bring this vision to life! Launching a global network across three continents required immense trust and creative energy. Together, you have transformed a bold idea into a thriving movement! (Read our full acknowledgments here).

And now, stay tuned to our blog for upcoming news, event highlights throughout the year, and announcements for the upcoming 2026–27 season!
